Protecting God' Children is a requirement of the Archdiocese of Detroit. This workshop is required for any 6th, 7th or 8th grade Parent Volunteer who works with students on a one-time or

Students are encouraged to bring their father, grandfather, uncle or a friend to this event. Please bring a lawn chair to sit on.

Friends: Friends are welcome and must be age appropriate for the grade level. Please email the Jr. High Coordinator Jr.high@stthereseparish.ws with the name of the guest and an emergency contact person.

Food: There will be a meal served - pizza or hot dogs, snacks, water and soft drinks.

Activities: Group games will be played.

Dress: Must wear athletic/tennis shoes.

Location: St. Therese of Lisieux

STUDENTS: Please sign in for credit

Students are encouraged to attend Mass with their families. Sign in will be in the Resource Room. We will gather before and after the Mass in the Resource Room.

Friends: Friends must be age appropriate for the grade level. Please email the Jr. High Coordinator Jr.high@stthereseparish.ws with the name of the guest and an emergency contact person.

Food: There will be a reception in the Social Hall for Fr. Larry Zurawski following the Mass.

Activities: We will briefly discuss the Mass in a small

group setting.

Dress: Please wear dress clothes, dress shoes.

Food: There will be a meal served - pizza, hot dogs, snacks, water and soft drinks.

Activities: Students ill be asked to donate items for

this event (ITEM LIST will be available soon). The

students will be gathering items, sorting items and

packing the items for the military service men and

women.

The WIND Conference for 2011 takes place at St.

Sabina in Dearborn, Michigan. The theme is

"Talents: Use Them or Lose Them", featuring Cooper

Ray, a dynamic, light-hearted speaker and musician

who shares his faith with honesty and passion.

On this day, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI

celebrates World Youth Day in Rome. Archbishop

Allen H. Vigneron will be the main celebrant and will

recognize the youth at the Mass. Students from the

diocese are encouraged to attend this Mass.
