I have been in
Youth Group since I was a teen. As a teen, I was on our
Core Team and quickly became very involved with Youth Group and
the church. I have been a 2nd and 6th grade catechist.
I also went to World Youth Day in Sydney Australia in 2008.
Since I've been back as a Young Adult, I've been a member of
SWAT, a Confirmation Facilitator, a member of Pastoral Council
as a Young Adult/STYG representative, and also worked with
Vacation Bible School. This year I am the Crew Leader of
the games section.
I became a member of SWAT
because I remember how much fun I had as a teen, and wanted to
give that back to the teens we now have. They are a great
group of kids. Both the teens and adults have grown very close,
and have formed a close bond with each other. |
